Check Exam Review and Students feedback today’s exam


NEW DELHI: The Central Board of Secondary Education’s (CBSE) Class 12 English examination was successfully conducted on Thursday, February 27, 2020, at various exam centres located across the country and abroad.

However, the Board postponed the class 12 English exam in violence-hit areas of northeast Delhi considering the request of Delhi’s Directorate of Education and to avoid inconvenience to students, staff and parents. The new date of exam for the affected students will be notified shortly, the CBSE said. There are a total of 86 centres in northeast Delhi.

The CBSE 12th English exam started at 10.30 am, but before that, students were given the question papers at 10.15 am to read the paper thoroughly. The exam concluded at 1.30 pm.

  • Section A – Reading: 20 Marks

The CBSE 12th English paper was of a total of 80 marks and the students were allowed to complete the paper in three hours. The 12th English question paper was divided into three sections – A (Reading) was of 20 marks, B (Writing Skills) was of 30 marks and C (Literature textbooks) was of 30 marks.

The CBSE 12th students who appeared for the English paper today said the difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. All the questions asked in today’s exam was based on the NCERT syllabus.

The paper moderate. The unseen passages and letter writing was easy. The paper was based on NCERT textbook.

I found paper bit easy. The section B(Writing skills) was nice. Overall paper was easy and can be finished in 3 hours.
